These four tips will help you get the most out of your 2023 sale.

Today, I want to talk to you about some things you can do to prepare your home if you’re thinking of putting it on the market in the spring of 2023. If you’re considering selling your home in the spring market of 2023, you need to start the process and prepare now. Buyers start their home search and are eager for buying opportunities and new housing inventory right after the new year.

1. Declutter the home. So the first thing you can do to prepare is to declutter and start packing away personal items. Decide which items you won’t need during the selling process, box them up, and put them out of the way.

2. Schedule the photos. The second thing you can do is schedule exterior photos of the outside of the house before there’s any chance of snow as we get into the colder months.

“You need to start the process and prepare now. ”

3. Have a pre-listing inspection done. The third thing you can do is hire a licensed home inspector to do a pre-listing home inspection. This will be valuable information and will enable you to be proactive and prepared for what will come up in a typical home inspection for a buyer.

4. Give us a call. The last and final thing you can do is call me to learn about the William Raveis Refresh program. I will bring a team to consult and make recommendations to perform any pre-sale preparations, such as exterior maintenance, updating kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing floors, painting, professional staging, and more. This program will put more money in your pocket, and the expenses are not due upfront and can be paid from the proceeds at closing.

Please contact me for a free consultation on getting your home ready for the market or any other real estate needs. My team and I would be happy to help you out.
