I spoke with Joe Quartararo about his restaurant, Le Jardin du Roi.
Today, I’m joined by Joe Quartararo, the owner of Le Jardin du Roi, an incredible restaurant here in Chappaqua. I had the pleasure of asking him a few questions about how he got started, what inspires him, and more.
Joe has been at Le Jardin du Roi for 22.5 years, and over that time, he has developed a large client base from around our area. Despite the town being rather small, Joe has built this place into a destination location that people visit from all over.

According to Joe, customer service is the most important aspect of a winning restaurant. You can have amazing food, but people won’t care if the experience doesn’t match it. To him, that’s why they’ve been able to thrive in their current location for so long. Joe has cultivated an amazing staff that treats their customers like family, and it’s a difference that people can feel. Finally, the outside dining experience is truly amazing. There’s a beautiful porch and garden that adds to the atmosphere, especially during the summer.
