I’m sharing what’s happening in northern Westchester real estate.
Believe it or not, we are very near the end of the first quarter of 2021. With that in mind, today I want to give you a quick update on what we’re seeing in the northern Westchester real estate market.
Right now, we have just 433 single-family homes for sale in the market. To put that in perspective, last year at this time, we sold 2,691 homes, which is 16% more than the number sold in 2019.
The low inventory and low interest rates make for hot competition among homebuyers. Sellers, on the other hand, are in a great position; prices continue to climb and homes are selling fast.
These are merely general market statistics; the numbers will be different depending on where you live, the condition of your property, and your price range.
